Welcome to Discover Unscripted. These Terms & Conditions outline the terms that apply when you purchase travel design services from Discover Unscripted or use this website.
By purchasing a planning service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Travel Design Services
Discover Unscripted provides personalized travel research, planning, recommendations, and travel design services based on the information and preferences provided by the client.
Services may include recommendations for destinations, accommodations, transportation, activities, dining, experiences, and other travel-related options depending on the planning package purchased.
Discover Unscripted is a travel design and planning service and does not act as a travel agency or travel supplier. Unless specifically stated otherwise, Discover Unscripted does not book or purchase airfare, accommodations, transportation, tours, activities, or other travel services on behalf of clients.
Clients are responsible for making and paying for their own reservations directly with third-party travel providers.
Planning Packages & Deliverables
The services and deliverables provided will be based on the planning package purchased and the scope described at the time of purchase.
Each package may include different levels of research, recommendations, planning detail, and revisions.
Requests that substantially change the destination, dates, number of travelers, overall trip scope, or other significant elements after planning has begun may fall outside the original service purchased and may require an additional planning fee.
If additional work is required, Discover Unscripted will discuss the scope and any additional fee with the client before proceeding.
Payment
Payment for the selected planning service is due in full before personalized travel planning begins.
The planning timeline begins once Discover Unscripted has received both:
· Full payment for the selected service
· The information reasonably necessary to begin planning the client's trip
If additional information or clarification is needed, the planning timeline may be paused until that information is received.
Cancellations & Refunds
Clients may cancel a planning service within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the completed travel plan has not already been delivered.
After the 24-hour cancellation period, planning services are considered to have begun and the planning fee becomes non-refundable.
Because personalized travel planning involves research, professional time, recommendations, and the creation of a customized travel experience, refunds are not available after the cancellation period.
If Discover Unscripted is unable to provide the planning service purchased, the client will receive a refund of the planning fee.
Revisions
Revisions are limited to those included in the planning package purchased.
Revision requests should relate to the original trip scope and preferences provided by the client.
Major changes—including a new destination, substantially different travel dates, significant changes in trip length, or other changes that effectively require a new travel plan—may require an additional planning fee.
Discover Unscripted will communicate with the client before performing work that would result in an additional charge.
Pricing & Availability
Travel prices and availability can change frequently.
Prices, availability, schedules, accommodations, activities, transportation options, and other travel information presented by Discover Unscripted are based on information available at the time the recommendations are researched or prepared.
Discover Unscripted cannot guarantee that a particular price, reservation, flight, room, activity, or other travel option will remain available after it has been recommended.
Clients are encouraged to make reservations promptly when they find an option they wish to secure.
Third-Party Bookings & Providers
Recommendations may include links to airlines, hotels, vacation rentals, tour operators, transportation companies, restaurants, attractions, booking platforms, and other independent third parties.
Any reservation or purchase made through a third party creates an agreement between the client and that provider.
Clients are responsible for reviewing the provider's pricing, cancellation policies, refund policies, terms, restrictions, and other conditions before completing a reservation.
Discover Unscripted is not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, service quality, availability, financial condition, or performance of third-party providers.
Changes, Cancellations & Travel Disruptions
Travel involves circumstances that may be outside the control of both the traveler and Discover Unscripted.
Discover Unscripted is not responsible for airline delays or cancellations, schedule changes, missed connections, accommodation issues, closures, weather, natural disasters, strikes, transportation disruptions, lost or delayed baggage, acts of government, changes in entry requirements, or other circumstances involving third parties or events beyond Discover Unscripted's reasonable control.
If circumstances change before or during a trip, Discover Unscripted may provide additional planning assistance when available. Depending on the extent of the requested assistance and the client's planning package, additional services may be subject to an additional fee.
Traveler Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for reviewing all recommendations and confirming that travel arrangements meet their individual needs before booking.
Travelers are also responsible for:
· Ensuring names and traveler information are entered correctly when making reservations.
· Obtaining and maintaining valid passports and other required identification.
· Determining and complying with visa and entry requirements.
· Reviewing applicable health, vaccination, customs, immigration, and destination requirements.
· Confirming travel dates, schedules, reservation details, and cancellation policies.
· Meeting airline, accommodation, cruise, tour, transportation, and other provider requirements.
· Arriving at airports, terminals, activities, and other locations at the required times.
Entry and travel requirements can change. Travelers should verify current requirements with appropriate government authorities and travel providers before departure.
Travel Insurance
Travel involves financial and logistical risks, including the possibility of cancellations, interruptions, delays, illness, emergencies, lost baggage, and other unexpected circumstances.
Discover Unscripted encourages clients to consider whether travel insurance is appropriate for their trip.
Any decision to purchase insurance, selection of coverage, and determination of whether a policy meets the traveler's needs are the responsibility of the client.
Accuracy of Recommendations
Discover Unscripted makes reasonable efforts to provide thoughtful and accurate travel recommendations based on information available during the planning process.
However, destinations and travel businesses change. Restaurants may close, attractions may change operating hours, transportation schedules may be modified, properties may change amenities, and other information may change without notice.
For that reason, clients should verify important details directly with the applicable provider before travel.
Client Communication & Delays
Timely communication helps Discover Unscripted complete travel plans within anticipated timeframes.
If additional information, decisions, or feedback are required from the client, delivery timelines may be adjusted until the necessary information is received.
Discover Unscripted is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information or delayed client responses.
Intellectual Property & Personal Use
Travel plans and materials created by Discover Unscripted are provided for the client's personal, non-commercial use.
Clients may share their plan with members of their traveling party but may not reproduce, resell, publish, distribute, or commercially use Discover Unscripted planning materials without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Discover Unscripted will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from third-party travel services, travel disruptions, or circumstances outside Discover Unscripted's reasonable control.
Discover Unscripted's responsibility for claims directly arising from its planning services will not exceed the amount the client paid Discover Unscripted for the planning service giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Website Use
Content on the Discover Unscripted website is provided for general informational purposes and may be updated or changed without notice.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of website content, branding, written materials, photographs owned by Discover Unscripted, or other original materials is prohibited except as permitted by law or with written permission.
Privacy
Personal information collected through this website and during the planning process is handled in accordance with the Discover Unscripted Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
Discover Unscripted may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
The version in effect when a planning service is purchased will generally govern that purchase unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
